Free Help Finding a Nanny, Babysitter, or In-Home Caregiver
Join our free online workshops and live Meet & Greet for parents looking for a nanny, babysitter, after-school caregiver, or a trusted family, friend, or neighbor provider. This event is for one-on-one, in-home childcare only and is not for preschool or licensed family childcare.
Sponsored by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and presented in partnership with JobTrain and TIFFAN, this free community event will help you understand your options, learn what to look for, and connect with trusted caregivers. All parents are welcome.
What you’ll get when you register
- Access to caregiver profiles: Once you register, you’ll receive profiles of TIFFAN-certified in-home childcare providers so you can review candidates and note who you’d like to meet.
- Private email introductions: After you select the caregivers you’re interested in, we’ll follow up with warm, private email introductions so you can continue the conversation at your own pace.
- Free online workshop: Attend a 90-minute online workshop on how to hire a nanny and create a share-care arrangement that works for your family.
- Workshop recording: If you can’t make it live (or want to rewatch), you’ll receive the workshop recording as a registrant.
- Live online Meet & Greet: Join a live Meet & Greet on Zoom to meet TIFFAN-certified caregivers face-to-face and ask your questions in real time.

- Workshop 2: Thursday, July 9 | 7:00–8:30 p.m. | Online via Zoom
- Live Meet & Greet: Saturday, July 11 | 10:00–11:30 a.m. | Online via Zoom
The workshop content is the same on both July 7 and July 9, so you only need to attend one workshop date. The Meet & Greet is open to all parents, whether or not you attend a workshop.
